A healthy and eventful journey through the hills of the Appenzell Mittelland
The round-trip tour starts in Teufen, Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It winds through hills and forests, passing some of the most scenic spots in the Appenzell Mittelland. Depending on your preferences and how much you feel like pedaling, you can ride along scenic roads or take advantage of the suspension on FLYER’s e-mountain bikes to explore forest trails off the beaten path. Halfway through the route, a traditional lunch awaits you at the Wilder Mann restaurant in Wald, Appenzell. From this idyllically situated vantage point, you can enjoy the view of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley and the Austrian mountains! After lunch, head back to Teufen for the second major stop, where you’ll take a tour of the A. Vogel Experience World and uncover the secrets of herbs. Hop on your bike, discover the world of herbs, and experience the Appenzell region at its best.
FUN, SPORTY AND EDUCATIONAL?
Experience a day with lots of ups and downs. The tour starts after a short briefing on handling e-bikes. In Wald, you will fortify yourself with a regional lunch. The tour then continues with a view of the St.Gallen Rhine Valley to the A. Vogel adventure world in Teufen. An accident-free tour and, of course, fun are the top priorities.
