E-Bike Tour Süffig -  A Culinary Tour of Delicious Treasures

Explore the region and the many delicious beverages from the Appenzell area with the help of an electric bike. Our public “Süffig” tour combines a light, active ride with genuine enjoyment and takes you to the region’s highlights. Hop on your bike, meet like-minded people, and experience the delicious gems of Appenzell at their best.

Program

9.30 Uhr
Welcome and briefing on the itinerary by the guide 

 Participants are provided with e-bikes and helmets.​
10 Uhr
The start: 
We’ll meet up at Abenteuer-Zeitreisen Topaz in Teufen. The first leg of the journey takes us to the neighboring village of Bühler. There, we’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the Goba factory and enjoy a guided tour that includes a tasting.

ca. 11.30 Uhr

Enjoying the scenery: 
With renewed energy, the trail continues over rolling hills, through shady forests, and past the most beautiful viewpoints to the Oberer Gäbris Inn in Gais. ​

ca. 12.30 Uhr
 Fine dining with a view:
Enjoy a traditional lunch in the fresh air—the majestic view of the Alpstein comes free of charge.

13.30 Uhr

A Boundless Experience:
After a quick snack, we set off on the final leg of the journey, which takes about two hours and leads us across the border into Innerrhod.

15.30 Uhr

The grand finale:
Once we arrive in the main town of Appenzell, we park our e-bikes and head to the Brauquöll Visitor Center to explore the fascinating world of beverages at the Locher Brewery (including a tasting).

17 Uhr
Farewell (return trip by public transportation)

E-bikes will be loaded onto the vehicle.

Clothing appropriate for the weather, cycling gear if available, a backpack for drinks, and a windbreaker
